Common questions

I can't hear my friends

• If your own receiver is down, you are in voicemail mode — voices pile up and play when you hang the receiver back up. Push your receiver up on the wall, or tap the LIVE / voicemail line under your nameplate.
• Notifications must be on in iPhone Settings › Notifications › ppip. On Android, ppip's app notifications must be on in device settings.
• To hear voices even on silent, turn on ALWAYS in the app: friends panel › gear › ALWAYS. Turn it off if you would rather receive quietly.
• On iPhone, with a Focus on, add ppip in Settings › Focus › Filters. On Android, while Do Not Disturb is on, voices arrive silently as notifications only.

How do I add a friend

Tap the empty sticker in the friends panel and type their ppip number. Your own number, an invite link and a QR code are on the same sheet. Once they accept, a receiver hangs on both of your walls.

How long are voices kept

24 hours on the free plan, 30 days with ppip+. Voices are deleted when that time is up, whether or not they were heard.

How do I cancel ppip+

Subscriptions are handled by the store you paid through: iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions, on Android Google Play Store › Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, or friends panel › gear › Manage subscription in the app. You keep ppip+ until the end of the paid period.

How do I delete my account

Use friends panel › gear › Delete account. Ordinary app data such as receivers, friendships and signals is deleted; cleanup jobs delete stored files. Transaction, report-handling and deletion-receipt records remain separately only for the purposes and periods in the Privacy Policy. Cancel ppip+ separately through the store you paid through (Apple or Google Play).

Blocking and reporting

Tap a friend's receiver in the panel; remove, block and report sit at the bottom of that page. Blocked numbers can be released in friends panel › gear › Blocked.

Request Account Deletion (Without the App)

You can request account deletion without installing or opening the app. Email adminppip@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion request." Please include your ppip number (e.g. 012-950-1004) or the email address you signed in with, so we can verify it's you.

Once verified, we delete the same scope as in-app account deletion — receivers, friendships, voices, pager history, photos and group memberships are removed, and files are purged by cleanup jobs. Transaction ledgers, report-handling records and deletion-receipt records remain separately only for the purposes and periods set out in the Privacy Policy. Cancel ppip+ separately through your Apple or Google account — this request does not cancel a subscription. We typically complete verified requests within 30 days.
